{"id":838,"date":"2015-02-01T02:19:34","date_gmt":"2015-02-01T02:19:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.adhazelma.com\/az\/?p=838"},"modified":"2017-03-04T19:49:36","modified_gmt":"2017-03-04T19:49:36","slug":"test-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adhazelma.com\/az\/blog\/test-blog\/","title":{"rendered":"Zigfiled Follies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Inspired by the Parisian Folies Berg\u00e8re, Florenz Ziegfeld and his wife Anna Held, founded the\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"><em>Ziegfeld Follies<\/em>\u00a0in New York, in 1907.\u00a0<em>The Follies<\/em>\u00a0produced lavish revues mingling the aesthetic of top Broadway shows and vaudeville variety. The productions featured beautiful chorus girls, the Ziegfeld Girls, who sang and dance, adorned in Ert\u00e9 or Lucile costumes.<\/p>\n<p>The Girls who revealed some of the high Hollywood figures of the time such as Marion Davies, Paulette Goddard or Barbara Stanwyck were the objects of popular adoration.
